Madagascar Institute- Feast of St Madagascar
April, 2001
A drama of pomp, circumstance, Heaven, Hell and shiny things, providing an experience that will make you whoop, shiver, kiss a stranger and cry for momma, with the high-end production values you have come to expect from the Madagascar Institute, without a complicated plot to confuse your bedazzled minds.
Or:
The best thing ever.
When you bump into friends or strangers and they ask you what you have been up to lately and you describe what you saw on Good Friday night, 2001, all will shake their heads in disbelief and some will walk away from you quickly, glancing back over their shoulder and shaking their heads, but some (and they are the ones you want to keep close) will get slackjawed and struggle against disbelief and plead "Tell me" and you will; and just by the fact of having been there you will be an artstar.
You will remember it to your dying day, and on your deathbed you will be heard to mutter "the saint...the saint..." as your eyes glaze over for the last time and your attendants will shrug and wonder but those who were there will know and smile.
